Be a Tutor!

Volunteer with ASKT and we'll teach you how to teach a child how to read!

Working with the same student, 90 minutes a week throughout the school year, you will be able to recognize a marked improvement in your student's reading ability and confidence level.

ASKT tutors are also mentors.  As a consistent role model, you'll teach through your presence, actions and words. Overall, you'll broaden the world of your student, teaching reading and affording an opportunity to succeed in life!
